ABOUT ME

Hi, Thank you for wanting to know a little more about me. My name is Marilyn Malave and I’m a licensed real estate agent, REALTOR® with Better Homes & Gardens Rand Realty. I specialize in home sales in Rockland County, NY. I do conventional home sales and purchases as well as Short Sales, and I am also a referral agent for people that want to buy or sell residential or commercial property any where else in the country. I have over 12 years experience in sales.

Prior to being a real estate agent I was a Sales Rep/ Insurance Underwriter with a small company in New York City. After 9/11 the owners of the insurance agency had to close down, so I decided to take some time off to be with my newborn baby and to really think about what I wanted to do next with my life, I wanted to love my next career, so I did some research and found some information on real estate. This was it! The more I researched the more I fell in love with selling residential real estate. The reason I chose residential instead of commercial real estate is because of how personal residential real estate is. People that are selling trust me with the sale of the home that they might still be very attached to, and people that are buying trust me to find the house that they want to call home. it doesn’t get any better than that folks.

So I went back to school got my license, and here I am. This was the best decision about my career that I have ever made. I love love love my job and believe me it shows in everything I do. Thank you for taking time to read a little about me. Don’t be a stranger now
