Hi there I'm so glad you want to know more about me, my name is Marilyn Malave and I’m a licensed real estate salesperson, REALTOR® with Better Homes & Gardens Rand Realty. I specialize in home sales in Rockland County, NY. I have over 12 years of sales experience. Before being a real estate agent I was and Insurance underwriter with a small company in New York City. After 9/11 the owners of the insurance agency had to close down because of reasons associated with 9/11. I had a newborn baby at the time so I decided to take some time before off and really think about what I wanted to do next with my life, I wanted to love my next career, so I did some research and found some information on real estate. This was it! The more I researched the more I fell in love with selling residential real estate. The reason I chose residential instead of commercial real estate is because of how personal residential real estate is. People that are selling trust me with the sale of the home that they might still be very attached to, and people that are buying trust me to find the house that they want to call home. it doesn’t get any better than that folks.
So I went back to school got my license, and here I am. This was the best decision about my career that I have ever made. I love love love my job and believe me it shows in everything I do. Thank you for taking time to read a little about me. Don’t be a stranger now :)
