Hi everybody,

If you’re thinking of moving to Rockland County or if you currently reside here you don’t want to miss the Living in Rockland Expo being held at the Joseph T. St. Lawrence Community Center in Hillburn, NY on May 24th. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

I think it’s so great that they’re doing this Expo, prospective and current residents can learn about different services that Rockland has to offer, and for the children there will be balloons, face painting, and toys. There will also be local bands that have agreed to play at the event.

I will be taking a few of my client homebuyers to the event so that they can get informed about the community and see how great it is to live in Rockland County. If you’re interested in buying a home in Rockland County and would like to go to the event give me a call and we’ll make a day of it 🙂

For more information about the event click HERE

See you all there! 🙂

Hi Everybody, Today was a depressing day and I’ll tell you why, I love reading Rivertown the local Rockland County magazine we get at our office every month. I especially like reading the “Call Me Crazy” section written by The Co-Publisher of the Rivertown magazine Phil Bunton, (I think he’s hilarious), anyway I noticed there was no “Call Me Crazy” section last month, I found it strange but didn’t give it much more thought until I got the September’08 issue. As I started reading the article waiting to get a few laughs I started to get teary eyed instead, now I know why there was no article last month, Mr. Bunton’s wife and fellow Co-Publisher Shirley had passed away and he couldn’t write his article as usual. In the September issue he talks about his tremendous loss and how he never thought that grief could hurt so badly. I couldn’t help but cry. I’ve never met them personally but by reading his stories and funny (sometimes not so funny 🙂 ) jokes it made me feel like I kind of did know this fellow Rocklander and my heart broke for him. Grief is such a terrible and inevitable part of life.

Mr. Bunton, you have my deepest sympathies, my prayers are with you and your family in this difficult time.

See you next time 😦
